What You’ll Need:
- MyFit Nails Acrylic Powder (Standard or Pro Formula)
- Monomer
- Acrylic Nail Brush
- Nail Forms or Tips
- Nail File & Buffer
- Primer & Dehydrator
- Dappen Dish
- MyFit Nails Top Coat (Matte or Glossy)
- Optional: MyFit Nail Art, Drill Bits, and More!
Step-by-Step Acrylic Application
Step 1: Prep Like a Pro
Start with clean, dry hands. Push back cuticles, lightly buff the nail plate, and shape the natural nail. Use a dehydrator followed by primer to ensure maximum adhesion.
Step 2: Choose Your Fit
Apply nail tips or forms, depending on your desired look. Trim and shape them for consistency across all nails.
Step 3: The Perfect Bead
Dip your brush into monomer, then into the acrylic powder to form a medium-sized bead. The Standard formula is beginner-friendly; the Pro Formula is for advanced techs—highly pigmented and quick-setting!
Step 4: Apply & Sculpt
Place the bead near the cuticle (without touching it) and gently pat and drag to sculpt. Work from the cuticle to the free edge in smooth motions. Don’t rush—control is key!
Step 5: File & Refine
Once fully cured, use your MyFit Nail File and Buffer to shape and smooth the surface. You can also use our drill bits for detailed refining.
Step 6: Seal the Deal
Wipe away dust and apply your MyFit Matte or Glossy Top Coat to finish with your desired look. Cure under a lamp if needed, depending on the top coat formula.
